"This knowledge sharing event was well planned and not a single minute was wasted.  I met many experts from around the world who shared their latest technology information with me.  This is the most informative event I have even been to during my career.  Thank you for making this the best information exchange event in the world”, said Nor Diana Ruszaini Mohd Zin from TNB Research in Malaysia.

„This is the third time that we are here at the LpS event and we find, it is one of the best technology fairs in Europe. The value in this fair lies in the fact that people come here to see and understand the new technologies. I think it is more the quality rather than the quantity of customer contacts. We have a lot of customers we have seen from Spain, from Israel, from everywhere. And I think the reputation of this fair is growing year by year.“ Stephane Rosa, Director of Lighting at Arrow Electronics EMEA, Germany

“The variety of subjects covered in conversation during the event is refreshingly broad and yet focused. Lectures cover topics from LED failure management to the advance and alternatives to OLED applications, from the thermal behaviour of bulbs to manufacturer responsibility in creating biologically friendly luminance, the conference is an ideal match for what was on show at the exhibition. Importantly the topics hit resonance on a global level, providing experience from authorities in Europe, Asia, and The Americas. It is easy to imagine everyone - visitors and exhibitors alike - leaving with something to consider and perhaps implement into their area of the industry – and surely that is the raison d’être for events like these.” Mark Hattersley, Editor mondo*arc, United Kingdom

“It was the exceptional quality of the entire LED professional Symposium that created an intensive
spirit of innovation and creativity. At the LED professional Symposium, I received inspiration from
the great people I met, from the high quality presentations and from the fabulous location and relaxed atmosphere. Many thanks to the LpS team for a fantastic time.” DI Stefan Zudrell-Koch, Head of the Business-Development Team,
 Dialog Semiconductors, Germany

"The LED professional Symposium was an outstanding event that brought together leading LED experts
from industry and academia. I was surprised at the level of professionalism and the caliber of speakers. It was also
a wonderful opportunity to network and experience the atmosphere of creativity and innovation."
Prof. DDr. Sergei Ikovenko, MIT, USA

4th International LED professional Symposium +Expo, LpS 2014

Design & Engineering for Future LED Lighting Systems

Lighting system design based on LED and OLED technologies is challenging. Preferred solutions have to incorporate the latest technologies, smart systems, new standards, advanced functionalities and new user behaviors. Therefore, successful solutions require a holistic design and engineering approach.

The symposium covers LED and OLED lighting system technologies for luminaries, lamps, modules and components. It focuses on new system approaches, new components, equipment and up-to-date design methodologies. Attendees will be inspired to create new designs and to transform innovations to the next levels.

The LpS 2014 is Europe’s foremost LED & OLED lighting technology event for people in industry and research who are involved in the design and engineering for future LED lighting systems in the fields of general, industrial and architectural lighting. The combination of a three-day multi-disciplined symposium, a workshop program, networking possibilities, and an international exhibition is a perfect opportunity to explore sophisticated semiconductor lighting.
