Call for Papers

LpS 2015 - Call for Papers

Artificial lighting greatly contributes to global energy demand and human well being. We are convinced that smart designs and controls are crucial for further developments of solid state lighting technologies and a platform for key experts is essential to determine future trends and find solutions.

Trends & Technologies for Future Lighting Solutions

The building blocks for smart lighting designs

The building blocks for smart lighting designs consist of latest application and technology trends and cost and process optimization in the fields of light sources, optics, smart controls and sensors, thermal management and system integration.

Lighting experts from academia and industry are invited to present their latest trends, analyses and technologies for smart lighting designs supporting future lighting solutions at the 5th LED professional Symposium +Expo in Bregenz from September 22nd to 24th, 2015. The 3-day conference will highlight state-of-the-art innovations in SSL with lectures, hands-on workshops and panel discussions providing a unique opportunity for networking and dialogue with key stakeholders from industry and academia.

Paper Submission
Submitted papers must be focused on solid-state lighting technologies from component to system level in the fields of light sources, optics, smart controls, drivers and sensors, thermal management and system integration. Abstracts must be submitted by 20th February 2015. All abstracts will be reviewed by the Advisory Board and selected submissions will receive an acceptance confirmation by May 15th, 2015. Full papers must be submitted by 30th June 2015.
