Safe Light for Everyone!
The “Sunlight” LED module depicted the basis for the design competition addressing young people and tendered from June to October 2016 by the designforum Vorarlberg together with Kairos- institute for impact research and development, Zumtobel Group, Energieinstitut Vorarlberg (Energy Institute Vorarlberg) and Vorarlberger Kraftwerke AG. Individuals or groups between the ages of 12 and 19 were called upon to create lamps out of the LED module and recycled or natural materials and/or materials that are free of cost with a universally usable construction manual. The creations and construction manuals can be downloaded at www.sunlight-project.org and are intended to be an inspiration for people all over the world who want to build a safe light source with the Sunlight module.
