CSEM is a private nonprofit Swiss organization for research and innovation. Supported by the Swiss Confederation, our mission is to enhance the competitiveness of industry by developing new technology platforms and transferring it to the industrial sector.

EVATEG Center develops thermal technologies for electronics, solid state lighting and display technologies. EVATEG’s capability includes both theoretical studies and experimental validation with prototypes at the chip and system level. Center has developed a number of models to identify chip level local hot spots and system level high performance thermal solutions which are patented with globally. EVATEG is open to license technologies through Ozyegin University Technology Transfer Office and spin off companies in the technology eco-system. Developing a cost effective, low weight, and sustainable thermal solution with customer focus is the primary goal of the EVATEG technology team.
Holst Centre is an independent R&D center that develops technologies for wireless autonomous sensor technologies and flexible electronics, in an open innovation setting and in dedicated research trajectories. A key feature of Holst Centre is its partnership model with industry and academia based around roadmaps and programs. It is this kind of cross-fertilization that enables Holst Centre to tune its scientific strategy to industrial needs.
Light plays a fundamental role in our lives. It provides illumination and stimulation; it can affect our emotions and bring safety to the darkness. Light even regulates basic biological processes deep within our bodies. Flexible, lightweight and shining over large areas in almost any shape, organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) will let us do more with light than ever before – opening up new designs and ways to treat illness. And with lighting currently using around 20% of the world’s electricity, OLEDs’ potential for high efficiency could save huge amounts of energy and greenhouse gas emissions.

LightCube is a UNIPD spin-off active in the research, development and design of LED lighting systems. LightCube is specialized in the electronic, optical and spectral development of innovative LED solutions and IoT systems. Luger Research fosters a global understanding of future lighting solutions. They do this by raising awareness, communicating and supporting the lighting industry and research, and by facilitating partnerships. This enables lighting technologies and trends to contribute to sustainability and well-being, for a better future. Luger Research, with its headquarters in Austria, is a media, events and research organization that supports the global lighting industry by sharing information about trends and technologies for future lighting solutions. Founded in 2001 with a focus on research and consulting, Luger Research has grown and developed in the last 16 years. The LED professional publications were launched in 2006, in 2011 the LED professional Symposium +Expo was introduced and now, in 2017, the Trends in Lighting Forum & Show has joined the company’s portfolio. OPTIS makes it possible to simulate the spectral radiation of the source which will illuminate the colored object. Depending on its color, the object will return only part of the light and it’s this light/object combination that results in the final color of the product. It’s precisely this phenomenon that we reproduce in our solutions, and the reason why we can say that the results you get with our software are “physically correct”.
