The Digitization of Buildings
Every company is trying to transform itself to gain competitive advantage and provide new customer experiences, empower workforce innovation and build innovative business models. Buildings, be it offices, hospitals, schools or retail stores are central to this digital transformation. This transformation, however, driven by the need for an ever-increasing array of components such as sensors, lighting, HVAC, security and Audio-Video equipment, is making buildings complex. While building technology has remained stagnant, the convergence of these isolated sub-systems into a single system is fundamental to digital transformation of buildings.
